Peace Aid Music Studios
My goal is that the studios become a window into each of the countries and conflicts they operate in, so they can contribute daily to the radio, tv, and music conversation for all to read, see, hear, and enjoy
– Lynn Scheid
Peace Aid Music Studios are permanent, community-based hubs that turn global inspiration into local impact. Established in countries emerging from conflict, these studios provide safe, creative, and educational spaces where music and dialogue serve as tools for stabilization and social healing.
Each studio functions as both a production center and a learning environment, equipped with recording facilities, classrooms, and community broadcast systems. Programs are locally managed but connected through a shared governance model that ensures quality, transparency, and accountability.
The studios strengthen civic identity, rebuild social trust, and promote inclusive economic recovery. They provide youth with practical skills in media, technology, and entrepreneurship, creating new opportunities and reducing the risks of marginalization or displacement.
By integrating music with psychosocial and educational programming, the studios support trauma recovery and community reconciliation. They collaborate with schools, NGOs, and local media to produce content that celebrates shared heritage and promotes future-oriented narratives.
Each studio contributes to Peace Aid Radio and TV, ensuring that local voices reach global audiences. Together, these studios form a growing international network, a constellation of creative hubs where culture and collaboration become instruments of peace.
